My projects
These are personal projects I design in my spare time, for the pleasure of making something that works. I model them in CAD with SolidWorks and most of them end up printed in 3D. Click any of them below to open its photos and a model you can rotate.
Mechanisms and machine parts

A three jaw self centering chuck, modelled as a full assembly with its scroll plate, pinions and jaws.

A servo driven gripper printed in 3D, with the fingers, the arm links and the turntable modelled together.

A steel wheel rim modelled in CAD, with its vent holes and its bolt circle.

Tools and household objects

A cutter built around standard utility blade refills, with a handle printed in 3D.

A hand file printed in 3D, used to hold abrasive paper for sanding.

A desk holder for a roll of adhesive tape, printed in 3D, with a removable lid.

A bed frame drawn beam by beam, with its brackets and its slatted base, so the whole assembly could be built from the model.

A small incense holder printed in 3D, with a sink that catches the ash falling from the stick.

A small table lamp, modelled in CAD as a design exercise: a heavy base, a LED holder and a cylindrical shade, with a knob on the side.
